The Governorship of Şırnak announced that 14 regions have been declared as "Temporary Special Security Zones" for a period of 15 days between August 30th and September 13th. The Governorship of Şırnak warned citizens not to enter these areas.

Some areas in Şırnak have been declared as special security zones between August 30 and September 13, according to a statement from the Governorship.

The statement mentioned that the areas of Bestler-Dereler and Güçlükonak in the central district of Şırnak, the Gabar Mountain in Silopi and Uludere districts, the Cudi Mountain in Cizre and Silopi districts, and the Kelmehmetler-Dönmezler-Kovankaya, Tahtareş, Hüsrevpaşa-Suhurpaşayayla, İncebeldağları, Faraşin, Altındağları, and Oymakaya regions in Beytüşşebap and Uludere districts have been temporarily declared as special security zones between August 30 and September 13 in order to ensure national security, public order and safety, prevent acts of violence, and avoid any negative situations.
