In the animal cemetery established on a 3-decare land in Bursa, 1,200 animals have been buried, the majority of which are cats and dogs. The cemetery also accommodates animals such as budgerigars, parrots, and rabbits. The burial fee, including the services provided, amounts to 2,500 Turkish lira.

Kadir Özdemir, the Director of Veterinary Affairs of Osmangazi Municipality, stated that they have received different burial offers for pets, saying, "Since our establishment in 2007, we have been serving as a pet cemetery. Here, we generally have cats, dogs, birds, and rabbits. During holidays, animal lovers come and clean the graves, standing by them. They talk to their pets here. We also share in their grief. The cost of a burial for an animal here reaches 2,500 lira. Over a thousand animals have been buried here. While cats, dogs, rabbits, and birds are buried in our cemetery, we once received a burial offer for a chameleon. We are currently expanding this area with our ongoing efforts," he said.
