Former CHP Deputy Barış Yarkadaş claimed that a portrait of Mansur Yavaş was hung at the headquarters of the Anatolia Unity Party and that a protocol would be signed upon Özgür Özel's return. Responding to this claim, which has become a hot topic in politics, ABB Beltaş A.Ş. Deputy General Manager Alparslan Yılmaz stated that the photograph in question has been hanging there for three years and said, "Do not use Mansur Yavaş as material for your political rivalries; there is no benefit for you in this."
Former CHP MP Barış Yarkadaş brought a new claim to the political agenda with a post on his social media account. Yarkadaş alleged that a portrait of Mansur Yavaş was hung at the headquarters of the Anatolian Unity Party in Ankara Dikmen.
"WE WILL SIGN THE PROTOCOL WHEN ÖZEL RETURNS"
Taking his claim a step further, Yarkadaş stated that he had a face-to-face meeting with ABP Chairman Bedri Yalçın last Friday. According to Yarkadaş, Yalçın signaled a new political cooperation by saying, "We will sign the protocol when Özgür Özel returns from Denizli."
RESPONSE FROM ABB TO THE ALLEGATIONS
A response from Mansur Yavaş's side to this post, which made waves in political circles, was not delayed. Deputy General Manager of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Beltaş Inc., Alparslan Yılmaz, firmly denied Yarkadaş's allegations on social media.
Emphasizing that the portrait was not newly hung, Yılmaz stated: "Mr. Barış, if you had asked any citizen living in that area, they would have told you that picture has been hanging for 3 years. Please do not make Mansur Yavaş a material of such political feuds; you will get nowhere with this."
