In a statement from the DEM Party's Imrali delegation, it was stated that meetings were held with the AK Party delegation and MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli within the scope of the "Peace and Democratic Society Process," and it was noted that the current stage of the process and the urgent implementation of the legal framework were discussed. The statement also reported that the delegation aims to meet with PKK terrorist organization leader Abdullah Öcalan on Imrali Island as soon as possible.

Expectations persist regarding the passage of a framework law before the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) goes into recess, following the publication of a joint report by the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission after the completion of its work.

The DEM Party Imrali delegation, consisting of TBMM Deputy Speaker and Van Deputy Pervin Buldan, and Sanliurfa Deputy Mithat Sancar, met with AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala yesterday evening, assessing the process and discussing the framework law issue.

A 40-MINUTE CLOSED MEETING WITH BAHCELI

Today, within the scope of the framework law, Buldan and Sancar visited MHP Chairman Devlet Bahceli at his office in Parliament. The closed-door meeting lasted approximately 40 minutes.
