Street dogs targeted 5-year-old Abbas! The severely injured child is fighting for his life.

A 5-year-old boy named Abbas Haşmet was attacked by stray dogs in Adana. The child, who was rescued with serious injuries, was taken to the hospital after the initial intervention and placed under treatment.

DOG ATTACKED WHILE PLAYING IN THE STREET

The incident occurred on June 5th around 15:00 in Meydan neighborhood of Seyhan district. Abbas Haşmet, a Syrian national, was playing in the street with his friends when he was attacked by a stray dog.

5 MORE STRAY DOGS ATTACKED WHILE LYING ON THE GROUND

Haşmet, who was injured in his leg, collapsed on the ground. Haşmet's friends went to his family to inform them. Meanwhile, 5 more stray dogs attacked Haşmet lying on the ground.

THEY TOOK THE DOGS AWAY BY FORCE

Abbas Haşmet's relatives came and drove the dogs away. Abbas Haşmet, who was covered in blood and unconscious, was taken to 5 Ocak State Hospital by the health teams who arrived at the scene upon notification.

CONDITION OF THE 5-YEAR-OLD CHILD IS SERIOUS

Haşmet, who was intervened at the hospital, was first transferred to Yüreğir State Hospital and then to Adana City Training and Research Hospital for further treatment. It was learned that Abbas Haşmet's condition is serious.
