In Batman, the body of Osman Turan (59) was found near a village water well. It was alleged that Turan was poisoned while he was inside the well to clean it.
On February 17th in Batman, an incident occurred in the Guhari area of the Karaköy village in Hasankeyf district; Osman Turan was found motionless in a water well belonging to the village, by his relative Ş.Z. (61), while he was trying to clean it with a gasoline water pump. Health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. During the teams' examination, it was determined that Turan had lost his life.
HE WAS BURIED AFTER AUTOPSY PROCEDURES
Turan's body was buried in the Petrol Cemetery after the autopsy procedures at the Batman Training and Research Hospital morgue. While the possibility that Turan died from carbon monoxide poisoning from the gasoline water pump is being considered, an investigation has been initiated regarding the incident.
