The Iskenderun Municipality has taken an unconventional step to draw attention to environmental cleanliness. Instead of being cleaned up by teams, sunflower seed shells, plastic bottles, cups, and bags left around park benches have been surrounded with protective netting and put on display, almost like a "work of art."
THEY TURNED GARBAGE INTO AN EXHIBITION AREA
The area containing the litter left behind by citizens sitting in the park has been cordoned off with netting by municipal teams for protection. A striking sign was placed next to the exhibit.
The sign included the following statements:
