The Deputy Chairman of the AK Party, Nihat Zeybekci, visited TÜSİAD the other day. Zeybekci met with TÜSİAD President Orhan Turan, who was released under a travel ban due to an ongoing investigation. Regarding his visit, Zeybekci stated, "It is not right for a representative of the business world to have a travel ban. We cannot interfere with the court, but the situation is disappointing. The footage of the detention was also unpleasant."

The President of the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD), Orhan Turan, and the Chairman of the High Advisory Council (YİK), Mehmet Ömer Arif Aras, were subjected to an investigation following their speeches at the association's general assembly. Turan and Aras were detained as part of the investigation and were later released under judicial control with a travel ban.

Recently, a new development occurred when AKP Deputy Chairman Nihat Zeybekci visited TÜSİAD President Orhan Turan. Zeybekci's visit to TÜSİAD, where AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had previously stated, "You will know your place in the New Turkey," drew attention.

"THE TRAVEL BAN IS NOT RIGHT, THE DETENTION FOOTAGE IS NOT PLEASANT EITHER"

After the visit, AKP Deputy Chairman Nihat Zeybekci criticized the form of detention and the travel ban, stating: "A travel ban on a representative of the business world is not right. We cannot interfere with the court, but the situation is upsetting. The detention footage was also unpleasant. As the AK Party, we do not hold grudges against anyone, nor can we."
