In Israel's cyber attacks on the beepers and radios used by Hezbollah members in Lebanon, nearly 40 people were killed and around 4,000 were injured. The attacks, planned and executed by the Tel Aviv administration through MOSSAD, have made significant headlines in the global public opinion, while the statements of a U.S. intelligence source speaking to ABC News have also created a stir. "ISRAEL HAS A HAND IN THE PRODUCTION OF THE DEVICES"According to the intelligence source, who confirmed that Israel has a hand in the production of the devices that were detonated this week and that such "supply chain" operations have been planned for at least 15 years, such an operation requires a cunning and lengthy process for agents to integrate themselves into the supply chain and to establish front companies. "CIA AVOIDS SUCH ATTACKS"The official noted that at least some of those carrying out this work are not actually aware that they are serving Israel, emphasizing that the CIA avoids such attacks due to the high risk to civilians. Two American intelligence officials speaking to the New York Times also wrote that Israeli officials referred to the beepers as "buttons" to be pressed at the right time. WHAT HAPPENED?On September 17 in Lebanon, simultaneous explosions occurred in the beepers used by Hezbollah members. In the explosions, 12 people, including two children, lost their lives, and 2,323 people were injured. Following the detonation of numerous radios in the country on September 18, 25 people were killed, and more than 608 were injured. While Lebanese officials hold Israel responsible for the incident, no statement has yet come from Israel regarding the matter. Since October 8, 2023, there have been sporadic clashes between the parties along the Israel-Lebanon border, which have occasionally escalated into violence.
