Victory Party Chairman Ümit Özdağ was detained as part of an investigation initiated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on charges of "insulting the President" and "inciting the public to hatred and hostility" due to his speech at the closing of the party's Provincial Chairmen Consultation Meeting held in Antalya a few days ago.
