Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as the trustee of the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency, expressed his support for the statements made by former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. Tekin said, "Let everyone engrave this in the back of their minds: The shepherd's fire has already been lit. From this point on, no one will have a comfortable space."
Gürsel Tekin, who was appointed as a trustee to the CHP Istanbul Provincial Presidency and expelled from the party, supported the statements of the former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu through a post on his official X account.
"YOU CAN NEVER SHOW THE SAME AUDACITY AGAINST KEMAL BEY"
In his social media post, Tekin used the following expressions:
"The troll gangs that utter unpleasant and inappropriate expressions like 'expulsion' through the name of our party's Chairman Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu should know this very well: We may have remained silent when it was done to ourselves, but you can never show the same audacity against Kemal Bey. Throughout history, all cadres, including the chairpersons of this party, have always demanded accountability; they have never shied away from giving an account. We have never defended any scoundrel or any corrupt individual. We have not stood by those who support the dirty order, bribery, and interest relations. The tradition of the CHP is clean, its conscience is clean, and its struggle is clean.
"I AGREE WITH KILIÇDAROĞLU'S VIEWS"
I agree with the views of my esteemed Chairman Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu: The Republican People's Party should be kept outside of slanders, plots, and any kind of dirty organization associated with corruption. This picture is no longer sustainable. This party will purify itself, strengthen, and continue on its path. Today, we face an organized troll gang. Their duties are clear: to tarnish the deep-rooted tradition, moral stance, and political legacy of the CHP. But they should know that this party is not one that can be designed by troll gangs, interest groups, or dark structures.

WHAT DID KILIÇDAROĞLU SAY?
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu stated in his remarks, "The Republican People's Party cannot be associated with bribes, corruption, and the contractors of the bribery wheel; it cannot come together with them. It cannot progress under slanders and allegations of corruption. It must purify itself immediately and continue on its path. The Republican People's Party should be a party that invites our esteemed nation to a moral awakening," he had said.
