Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton stated that the United Nations has described the situation in Gaza as genocide, emphasizing that this situation cannot be ignored and calling for assistance for the Palestinian people.
Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton stated that a research commission under the United Nations described the events in Gaza as genocide and that as human beings, we cannot remain spectators to its continuation.
HE MADE A CALL FOR HELP
The British driver pointed out that the situation in Gaza is worsening day by day, saying, "In the last two years, more than 10% of the population has been killed or injured - including tens of thousands of children - and this number continues to rise. The recent attack on Gaza City has displaced hundreds of thousands of people. The hospitals in the region are overflowing with both those suffering from hunger and the victims of the relentless bombings."
Hamilton emphasized that there are some organizations doing great work to help the Palestinian people and made a call for assistance.
Conveying that we cannot stand by without doing anything, Hamilton said, "If you have something to give, I would be grateful if you join me. I have donated to three organizations that work tirelessly to help those in need."
