Surprise ATM decision from banks! Limits have changed.

17.01.2025 16:50

Banks have increased the withdrawal limits for transactions made at ATMs. Currently, the daily withdrawal limit, which is 10,000 TL, has been raised to 15,000 TL at some banks and up to 20,000 TL at others.

In the last days of the previous year, following the information provided about changes to ATMs, most banks updated their cash withdrawal limits as of January 1, 2025.

INCREASED TO 20,000 TL

In line with the mentioned update, the daily cash withdrawal limits at ATMs, which were 10,000 TL, have been raised to 15,000 TL at some banks and up to 20,000 TL at others.

QR CODE LIMIT HAS ALSO BEEN INCREASED

There has also been an increase in the limits for cash withdrawal transactions made via QR code at ATMs. Customers wishing to withdraw cash through the banks' mobile applications will thus be able to perform cash withdrawal transactions in higher amounts.

USE OF SMALL DENOMINATION BANKNOTES IS DECREASING

There has been a gradual decrease in the use of small denomination banknotes at ATMs. Most of the 10 and 20 TL banknotes have been removed from ATMs, and 200 TL banknotes have been placed in their place. The 50 and 100 TL banknotes have also been disabled for use by some banks.
