In Iğdır, the lifeless body of a woman was found in a business center where gunshots were heard. The police detained a person in connection with the incident. In Batman, a 33-year-old man, R.D., was found dead in his home.
Two women died under suspicious circumstances in Iğdır and Batman. An investigation has been launched regarding both incidents.
GUNSHOT HEARD, CORPSE FOUND
Police teams were dispatched after a gunshot was heard in a business center located on Mehmet Akif Street in the Bağlar neighborhood of Iğdır. Around 10:30 PM, police teams arrived at the scene following reports from citizens and found the lifeless body of a woman in a workplace on the first floor of the business center. It was determined that a man named I.K. was also present in the workplace at the time of the incident. While police teams detained I.K. found at the scene, they conducted a comprehensive investigation in the workplace.
SUICIDE OR MURDER?
Initial findings revealed that the deceased woman was C.I. The body of C.I. was taken to the morgue of Iğdır State Hospital. Investigations at the scene determined that the bullet fired from the gun had exited through the workplace's window and also broke the balcony window. Police teams launched a multifaceted investigation to determine whether the incident was a suicide or a homicide. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
ANOTHER DEATH REPORT FROM BATMAN
Meanwhile, in Batman, relatives of a 33-year-old woman named R.D., who lived in the Kültür neighborhood and had not heard from her for a while, came to check on her. Concerned that the door did not open, the relatives reported the situation to the authorities. Following the report, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the door was broken open by the fire department, the teams that entered found R.D.'s lifeless body. Health teams determined that the woman had passed away.
R.D.'s body was taken to the morgue of Batman Training and Research Hospital for an autopsy after the investigations at the scene. Police teams have initiated an investigation regarding the incident.
