ALERT RAISED AT SCHOOLS IN THE REGION

It was stated that police teams continued their search and investigation efforts with numerous resources and units at the scene, and the public was urged to obey security barriers and police instructions. Municipal officials announced that the police were continuing their searches in the high school building and that, as a precaution, other schools and facilities in the area, including Olympen, Fagerstahallen, Risbroskolan, Skogsglantan, Bjorksta, Prastkragen, and Norrbybacken, had been locked down and placed under protection.

Sweden's state television reported that numerous ambulances, police vehicles, special intervention teams, and a police helicopter were present around the school.
