While it was stated that education in the city will be conducted remotely for one day, warnings for the public to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary have been issued one after another.

Iranian media published a written statement from the Tehran Governor's Office. The statement noted that schools and official offices in Tehran, except for the districts of Malard, Rebat-i Kerim, Demavend, Firuzkuh, and Pardis, have been declared closed due to the ongoing high levels of air pollution.
It was recorded that education will be conducted remotely as part of the decision.
