A heartbreaking incident occurred in the Sheopur district of Madhya Pradesh, India. A 26-year-old groom suffered a heart attack and died while riding a horse during the wedding procession.
According to information from officials, the incident took place on Friday night at the Jat Hostel in Sheopur town. The groom, Pradip Jat, collapsed while entering the wedding venue on horseback with the traditional wedding procession.
In videos shared on social media, Jat, dressed in traditional attire, can be seen slowly leaning forward and losing consciousness as he approached the stage on the horse. Although a relative tried to help him, Jat fell to the ground before any assistance could be provided.
Pradeep Jat, a former regional president of the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Congress Party, was immediately taken to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
This tragic event occurred just six days after a similar incident in the Vidisha district. A 23-year-old woman, Parinita Jain, had suffered a heart attack and died on stage while dancing at her cousin's wedding. This painful incident, which happened while dancing to the song "Lehra ke Balkha ke," was also captured on camera.
