Terrifying incident in Üsküdar! Man shoots woman who rejected his proposal.

A woman in Üsküdar was attacked with a gun at her workplace by M.M.Ö., whom she had rejected a date proposal from. After shooting the woman, the attacker attempted to shoot himself with the same gun, but the gun jammed and his suicide attempt failed. The injured woman was taken to the hospital while M.M.Ö. was chased by nearby citizens.

The incident occurred yesterday around 23:40 in the Güzeltepe neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the attacker named M.M.Ö. approached a woman named N.A. who lived in the same neighborhood and offered to get to know her. After her refusal, M.M.Ö. went to the woman's workplace and shot her.

INJURED WOMAN TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL

The attacker attempted suicide with the same weapon. While N.A. was injured, the people around tried to lynch M.M.Ö. who was trying to escape. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. N.A., who received initial treatment at the scene, was taken to the hospital by ambulance. M.M.Ö., who was taken into custody by the police, was arrested and sent to prison after the procedures at the police station.

SHOT THE WOMAN FIRST, THEN TRIED TO COMMIT SUICIDE

The moment of the attack was captured on a security camera of a business. In the footage, M.M.Ö., waiting at the corner of the street, starts firing with the gun he has when the woman is walking. N.A. falls to the ground, and M.M.Ö. attempts suicide with the same weapon. As the gun jams, M.M.Ö. tries to escape from the scene but is chased by the people around.
