Two unexploded hand grenades were found in a bag on the side of the TEM highway in Kavacık, Istanbul, towards the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. Bomb disposal and crime scene investigation teams were dispatched to the scene, causing heavy traffic congestion in the area.

People going to work in the morning saw a bag on the side of the TEM highway in the direction of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge in Kavacık Mevkii.

BOMB DISPOSAL TEAMS AT THE SCENE

The citizens who noticed hand grenades in the bag immediately informed the police. The police teams found 2 unexploded hand grenades in the bag and immediately notified the bomb disposal and crime scene investigation teams.
