Terrifying moments of two planes colliding at the airport: Pilots shouted "no!" as the deafening sound of the crash was heard Shocking footage has emerged of a plane making an emergency landing due to an electrical failure, colliding with another aircraft on the runway. In the footage taken from the cockpit of the malfunctioning plane, it can be seen dangerously swaying during landing and crashing into a light aircraft in front of it. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident at Pearland Regional Airport in Houston, Texas, but both planes were rendered unusable. According to a passenger who experienced the accident, the 1973 Grumman American AA-5 Traveler planes began experiencing electrical issues after taking off from Galveston. First, the headsets failed, followed by the radio and avionics systems. They had to make an emergency landing without any functioning devices. Because they could not communicate, the pilot of the Cessna 182T Skylane in front was unaware of their presence and suddenly stopped to make a left turn on the runway. The malfunctioning plane, which had non-working flaps, could not slow down enough, and the collision became inevitable. The collision created a large hole in the fuselage of the front plane. In the rear plane, the aluminum fuselage crumpled, and the windows shattered. Fortunately, there was no passenger in the back seat of the front plane; otherwise, the accident could have been fatal.
