Justice Minister Akın Gürlek announced that files on unsolved crimes and missing persons cases are being re-examined. Gürlek stated that new evidence has been obtained in the Nesim Bayram case, which has remained unresolved for 13 years in Ağrı, and in the Evindar Tığrak investigation in Batman, and announced that legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspects.
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek announced that files that have remained unsolved for years are being reexamined under the coordination of the Unsolved Crimes Investigation Department established within the Ministry of Justice.
Gürlek stated that all resources are mobilized to ensure justice in cases that wound the public conscience, and investigations into missing citizens and unsolved murders are being conducted meticulously.
NEW DEVELOPMENT IN THE 13-YEAR-OLD NESIM BAYRAM FILE
According to information provided by Minister Gürlek, significant developments have occurred in the Nesim Bayram investigation ongoing in Ağrı since 2013.
In the work carried out by the Ağrı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, HTS and base station records were reexamined using current analysis methods. Based on new witness statements and obtained evidence, suspects related to the incident, which had remained unsolved for approximately 13 years, were taken into custody.
CRITICAL EVIDENCE ALSO OBTAINED IN THE EVINDAR TIĞRAK FILE
In the file of Evindar Tığrak, who is sought as missing in Batman, findings that could change the course of the investigation have been reached.
In the investigation conducted by the Batman Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, HTS and PTS records, criminal examinations, biological traces on the vehicle, witness statements, and technical data were evaluated together. In line with the new evidence obtained, legal proceedings have been initiated against those responsible.

In his statement, Gürlek thanked the prosecutor's offices, police units, and staff of the Unsolved Crimes Investigation Department involved in the investigations, emphasizing their determination to shed light on missing citizens and unsolved murders.
Gürlek stated, "We are determined to lift the veil of mystery over our missing citizens, unsolved murders, and long-unhealed pains. We will continue to work day and night to reveal the truth and ensure justice."
