It has been revealed that Muharrem Kılınç (50), who went missing in Eskişehir 14 years ago and was never heard from again, was killed and buried by his brother Ali Kılınç.

Living in the rural Yahnikapan neighborhood of the Odunpazarı district in Eskişehir, Muharrem Kılınç went missing in 2011. After the family could not hear from him for a while, they filed a missing person report with the police and gendarmerie teams.

THE 14-YEAR-OLD MYSTERY HAS BEEN UNVEILED

However, no trace of Muharrem Kılınç was found during all the searches. The Eskişehir Provincial Gendarmerie Command JASAT Detective Teams reopened the missing person case and formed a special team. After a year of work, it was revealed that the missing Muharrem Kılınç was killed and buried by his brother Ali Kılınç (61).

SEARCHED WITH A GROUND SCANNING DEVICE

To find the body of Muharrem Kılınç, gendarmerie teams conducted an examination on the ground next to the family home and in another unused house. As a result of the searches using ground scanning devices and cadaver search dogs, bones belonging to the missing Muharrem Kılınç were found wrapped in a blanket, about half a meter below the ground.

SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY

After the examinations, Kılınç's body was taken to the hospital morgue. The suspect, Ali Kılınç, was taken into custody after undergoing a health check.
