Aykan Yazar, a 17-year-old in Istanbul Pendik, was injured when unidentified individuals in a passing car opened fire as he was walking on the street. The bullet entered Yazar's neck and lodged in his jaw.

GANGSTERS FIRED THEIR GUNS

The incident occurred last Monday night around 02:00 in Velibaba neighborhood in Pendik. 17-year-old Aykan Yazar went to buy ice cream with his friend. As Yazar was returning home, he became the target of a bullet fired into the air by an unidentified gangster driving a car.

BULLET ENTERED HIS NECK AND LODGED IN HIS JAW

The bullet entered Yazar's neck and lodged in his jaw. Aykan Yazar, who luckily survived and started holding his neck, was taken to the hospital by ambulance and medical teams that arrived at the scene upon notification. The police have initiated an investigation to capture the unidentified gangster.

"THE BULLET HIT ME"

Aykan Yazar, who was the target of the gangster's bullet, said, "We were going to buy ice cream with my friends. On the way back, I heard gunshots. The bullet from the gangster firing into the air hit me. There was no one on the street at that time. They kept driving away after the incident. I want the authorities to capture these individuals. Today, this incident happened to me, tomorrow it could happen to someone else," he said.
