The event, organized at the Stockholm Concert Hall (Konsert Huset), was attended by the Swedish Royal Family, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, ministers, Turkey's Ambassador to Stockholm, Yönet Can Tezel, party representatives, foreign country representatives, as well as many invited guests.

The awards announced in September were presented to the recipients by King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden. The economics award was given to Turkish scientist Prof. Dr. Daron Acemoğlu, Simon Johnson, and James Robinson; the physics award went to John Hopfield and Geoffrey Hinton; the chemistry award was awarded to David Bake, Demis Hassabis, and John Jumper; the medicine award was given to Victor Ambros and Gary Ruvkun; and the literature award was received by Han Kang.
ACEMOĞLU: ONE OF THE HAPPIEST DAYS OF MY LIFE
After receiving the Nobel Prize, Acemoğlu stated in an interview with AA that he was experiencing one of the happiest days of his life, saying, "Being with my family made me even happier."
The Nobel Prize winners were awarded a diploma, a Nobel medal, and approximately 1 million 100 thousand dollars. Meanwhile, the 2024 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded to the Japanese organization Nihon Hidankyo for its work in the field of "nuclear disarmament" in a ceremony held in Oslo, the capital of Norway.
