An attempted armed robbery at a liquor store in Minnesota was thwarted by the store owner's 8-year-old daughter. In the incident captured on security cameras, the robber demanded money from the cash register with his weapon, leading to a scuffle with the father. Meanwhile, the little girl attacked the robber with a baseball bat and saved her father. The robber fled but was apprehended shortly after. The police arrested the suspect on charges of first-degree aggravated robbery attempt. The brave girl's father said, "I am proud of her, she is very strong."

In this incredible incident at Big Discount Liquors store in Maplewood, Minnesota, a brave little girl saved her father by beating an armed robber with a baseball bat.

In the security camera footage, it can be seen that the suspect entered the store and walked around before approaching the cash register and pointing a gun at the father. Leo, the father, said that the man entered the shop around 9:30 pm on Saturday evening when he was closing the store.

The robber demanded all the money from the cash register from Leo, seemingly placing a real BB gun on the counter. Leo offered to give all the money from the cash register in exchange for the safety of his daughter waiting behind the counter.

However, when the man crossed behind the counter with the gun, a fight broke out between Leo and him. Meanwhile, Leo's young daughter entered the frame with a baseball bat in her hand and repeatedly hit the suspect on the ground.

Leo eventually managed to take the gun from the man, and the robber fled the scene without taking any money or his weapon. The police later apprehended the suspect, who had a cut under his eye and blood on his lip.

Proud father Leo said, "I'm proud of her, she's very strong," and mentioned that he didn't realize his daughter was trying to help him until he watched the security camera footage.

The police identified the suspect as 37-year-old Conchobhar Morrell. Morrell initially resisted arrest but later surrendered. It was learned that Morrell had previously been convicted of first-degree robbery in Minnesota in 2004.
