Actor Ufuk Özkan has been discharged from intensive care following his liver transplant surgery. For the first time after the surgery, Özkan shared his feelings, saying, "I didn't think I was loved this much. Many people prayed for me. I thank everyone who prayed and loved me. Your prayers have been my guardians."
Famous actor Ufuk Özkan has passed a critical threshold in his challenging health journey. After undergoing a successful liver transplant operation, Özkan thanked his loved ones for their prayers and support after leaving the intensive care unit.
The surgeons who performed the operation, Prof. Dr. Remzi Emiroğlu, Prof. Dr. Murat Dayangaç, Prof. Dr. Onur Yaprak, and Assoc. Dr. Cenk Şimşek, announced that both the famous actor and the donor are in very good health.

Sharing his feelings after the intensive care process, Özkan said, "Thank you all very much. It has been 5-6 hours since I opened my eyes. A surgical intervention lasting about 8 hours was performed. My invaluable doctors, Prof. Dr. Remzi Emiroğlu, Prof. Dr. Murat Dayangaç, Prof. Dr. Onur Yaprak, and Assoc. Dr. Cenk Şimşek achieved something incredible. First of all, I thank our former Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca. I didn't think I was loved this much. Many people prayed for me. I thank everyone who prayed and loved me very much. Your prayers have become my guardians. We will meet soon on our feet," he said.
On the other hand, a press conference will be held in the coming days to inform the public, with the participation of Ufuk Özkan, his donor, and the doctors who performed the operation.
