IBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu reacted strongly to the response of an AKP council member who said "Because of terror" to his words while speaking at the podium: "You raid the house of a 65-year-old man at 5 in the morning. Would you like it if this happened to any of you? You take him away from his wife and throw him in jail. You plan it, you appoint a trustee. Shame. Don't poke your finger in a blind eye. The council should choose, no. Why? What is the reason?"

İmamoğlu, who was almost beside himself,

said, "Who are you to call someone a terrorist, who are you? Are you acting as a judge? Shame," İmamoğlu continued, "You think you can win elections by calling this nation 'terrorist,' but you cannot. Forget that. Look, there is a secret witness, there is no statement from the secret witness. You will be ashamed of what you said about the 65-year-old man, do you know that? Let the judge speak. You don't speak. If something happens to you, I will defend you, but you cannot do it. Do you know why? This is called political captivity," he stated.

Why are you shouting at me, you impudent! You can't open your mouth next to me. What kind of shouting is that from there? You can't shout while I'm speaking, you impudent," he expressed.
