Heavy downpours have brought life in Antalya to a standstill. After the rains, the Antalya-Konya road was flooded.
Heavy downpours affecting Antalya have negatively impacted life in the city. Streets and avenues turned into lakes as the rain poured down like a bucket, making it difficult for drivers and pedestrians to move along the roads.
ANTALYA-KONYA ROAD REMAINS UNDER WATER
While many points in the city center experienced flooding, municipal and AFAD teams were on alert for evacuation efforts.
One of the places hardest hit by the rainfall was the Antalya-Konya highway. Due to the rising water level, some sections of the road were closed to traffic. Authorities warned citizens traveling in the area to avoid going out unless necessary and to use alternative routes.
