The chip giant Nvidia has announced its third-quarter financial results. The company's revenues increased by 62% year-on-year to $57 billion, while its net profit rose by 65% to $31.9 billion. CEO Jensen Huang emphasized the rapid growth of the artificial intelligence ecosystem.
The California-based chip manufacturer Nvidia's revenue reached $57 billion in the quarterly period, marking a 62% year-over-year increase and exceeding market expectations.
Nvidia announced its financial results for the quarterly period ending on October 26, which it considers the third quarter of the 2026 fiscal year.
Accordingly, the company's revenue for the period rose to a record level of $57 billion, up 62% year-over-year.
Increasing its revenue by 22% compared to the previous quarter, Nvidia had generated $35.1 billion in revenue during the same period of the previous fiscal year. Nvidia's revenue exceeded market expectations of $55 billion for this period.
The company also announced its revenue expectation for the current quarter as $65 billion.
THE COMPANY'S PROFIT INCREASED BY 65%
Nvidia's net profit also rose by 65% year-over-year in the quarter, reaching $31.9 billion. The company's net profit was recorded at $19.3 billion during the same period of the previous fiscal year. Nvidia's earnings per share increased from 78 cents to $1.30 during this period.
"THE AI ECOSYSTEM IS GROWING RAPIDLY"
Nvidia's Founder and CEO Jensen Huang stated in a press release regarding the financial results that the sales of the company's latest artificial intelligence chip, Blackwell, were significantly above expectations.
Emphasizing that the efficient cycle of artificial intelligence has begun, Huang noted, "In more sectors and countries, newer foundational model producers are driving the rapid growth of the artificial intelligence ecosystem with more AI initiatives."
