NEW AIR STRIKE ON BEIRUTAfter approximately 10 explosion sounds in the southern region of Beirut, smoke began to rise. The explosions occurred following Netanyahu's speech at the UN General Assembly. According to a report by Lebanon's official agency NNA, the Hureyk neighborhood in the Dahiye area of southern Beirut was targeted in a series of airstrikes. ISRAEL'S ATTACKS IN LEBANON ESCALATEThe Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah since October 8, carried out hundreds of airstrikes on southern Lebanese cities, as well as the Bekaa and Baalbek regions, on September 23. According to Lebanese authorities, 773 people have died in the escalating airstrikes, and nearly 150,000 people have been displaced within the country due to the bombings. Hezbollah is responding to the ongoing intense bombardment by the Israeli army on the country's southern and eastern regions with missile attacks. There have been no significant damages reported from these attacks, which primarily target military bases on the Israeli side. While the wave of migration from the southern parts of the country to the capital Beirut and the north continues, it is also reported that some are migrating to Syria.
