The increasing tension between Israel and Iran has led to a rise in oil prices, causing a sharp increase in fuel prices. With the midnight price hike, diesel has surpassed 55 lira, while gasoline has exceeded 52 lira. In just one week, diesel prices have increased by 8.5 lira, and gasoline prices have gone up by 4.5 lira. These increases are recorded as the largest single hike in the fuel group, aside from adjustments in the Special Consumption Tax (ÖTV).
The increasing tension between Iran and Israel has caused brent oil prices to rise to $78. Following these developments, significant increases in fuel prices have occurred. The price of diesel increased by 3.30 TL per liter, while the price of gasoline rose by 1.51 TL per liter. These hikes have been recorded as the largest single increase in the fuel group, excluding ÖTV regulations.
HERE ARE THE DAILY PRICE INCREASES
On June 12, the price of gasoline was 46.96 TL in Istanbul and 47.63 TL in Ankara. Diesel was priced at 46.27 TL in Istanbul and 47.12 TL. On June 13, gasoline rose to 48.39 TL in Istanbul, while diesel remained stable at 46.27 TL. On June 19, gasoline increased to 49.97 TL, and diesel rose to 51.37 TL. In Ankara on June 19, gasoline reached 50.64 TL, and diesel increased to 52.22 TL.
NEW FUEL PRICES
With the latest increase, the price of gasoline in Istanbul has risen to 51.50 TL per liter, while the price of diesel has reached 54.72 TL. In Ankara, gasoline is now 52.16 TL, and diesel has increased to 55.56 TL. In the last week, the total increase in diesel was 8.5 TL, and in gasoline, it was 4.5 TL.
EXPENSIVE RISE IN 9 DAYS
As a result of the price increases since June 13, filling the tank of a diesel vehicle will cost an additional 500 TL. For a gasoline vehicle with a 60-liter tank, the difference will be 270 TL.
