A mass grave containing the bodies of prisoners who were dissolved in acid was found after the torture devices used on political prisoners in the prison. It was determined that one of the bodies found in the prison belonged to the famous Syrian activist Mazen Hamadi. The famous activist, who spent 1.5 years in prison and was tortured multiple times during this period, was released in September 2013 and went to the Netherlands to share his experiences.
