Savaş Güzel, who had been missing for two days in Kars, was found dead in the elevator shaft of the Probation Office, where he had gone to sign. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
It has been revealed that Savaş Güzel (26), who was reported missing by his family in Kars, fell into the elevator shaft of the Probation Office while he was there to sign. The Güzel family, living in Kars, reported that Savaş Güzel had been missing for 2 days. While the security forces were working to find Savaş Güzel, information came in yesterday around 4:00 PM that a body was found in the elevator shaft of the Kars Probation Office building on Davut Aksu Street in the central Mahalle. Following the notification of the officer to the 112 Emergency Call Center, health, AFAD, and fire teams were dispatched to the building where the Kars Probation Office is located. The deceased person was retrieved by the teams' efforts.
AN INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED REGARDING THE INCIDENT
After the examinations conducted by the duty prosecutor at the scene, it was determined that the person found dead in the elevator shaft was Savaş Güzel. Savaş Güzel's body was taken to the Harakani State Hospital morgue for autopsy procedures. His relatives, who came to the scene upon receiving the sad news, were overwhelmed with tears.
It is being considered that Savaş Güzel, who had a probation decision for the crime of injury, fell into the shaft when the door opened while he was there for a routine signing process and wanted to take the elevator on the 5th floor. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
