The historic Kara Todori Mansion located on the Bosphorus in Istanbul is being put up for sale through foreclosure due to bank receivables, with a determined starting price of 1 billion 150 million lira for the structure in Sarıyer.
The Kara Todori Mansion, which holds an important place in the historical texture of the Istanbul Bosphorus, has been put up for sale again as part of the enforcement process. The sale transactions of the mansion, located in the Sarıyer district, are being carried out by the Istanbul Real Estate Sales Enforcement Office.
APPRAISED VALUE 1 BILLION 150 MILLION TL
According to the information obtained, the mansion was included in the enforcement process against the receivables of a bank. It was recorded in the sale file that the appraised value determined for the property is 1 billion 150 million lira.

Built in 1871 by Sarkis Balyan, who was also the architect of the Çırağan Palace, the Kara Todori Mansion stands out with its architectural features. The structure, which has its own pier, is among the prominent works along the Bosphorus line with its gold leaf niches and detailed decorations.
