According to a report by India's NDTV channel, police officials stated that a bus caught fire after colliding with a tipper truck in the Markapuram district of Andhra Pradesh.

Police officials indicated that some of the 13 people who lost their lives in the accident died by burning, and 20 injured individuals were transferred to nearby hospitals.
CONDOLENCES FROM MODI
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the families of those who died in the accident through a post on the social media platform of the US-based X company. Modi announced that financial assistance would be provided to the families of the injured and deceased.
INVESTIGATION ORDERED
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, instructed officials to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the causes of the accident and to present a detailed report.
