The Eskişehir Provincial Health Directorate launched an administrative investigation after footage of a fight and inappropriate behavior at Sivrihisar State Hospital spread on social media. While images of the hospital director brutally beating staff caused outrage, moments of a security guard sitting on a woman's lap and kissing her in a waiting area during working hours also sparked significant backlash.
The Eskişehir Provincial Health Directorate took action after footage of two separate incidents at Sivrihisar State Hospital recently appeared on social media.
In a written statement from the directorate, it was stated that an investigation has been launched regarding the images of a fight and behaviors inappropriate for the workplace environment, recorded by security cameras at the hospital.
ADMINISTRATIVE INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
The statement noted that an administrative investigation has been initiated by the Provincial Health Directorate into both incidents, adding, "The process is being followed meticulously."
It was learned that as part of the investigation, both the fight between the hospital director and staff, as well as images of a security guard's inappropriate behavior in the hospital waiting area, will be evaluated.
TWO INCIDENTS HAD COME TO THE AGENDA
At Sivrihisar State Hospital, it was alleged that about three months ago, a dispute between hospital director T.Y. and staff member A.D. turned into a fight, with the director physically assaulting the staff member, and the incident was captured on security cameras.
In the other incident, a security guard reportedly on duty at the hospital was recorded by a mobile phone camera sitting on a woman's lap and kissing in the waiting area during work hours, drawing public reaction.
