The partner of the café, which was reduced to ashes, said, "We had been working on this place for the past two or three months to open it, and we had our opening scheduled for tomorrow morning. The incident occurred around 11:15 in Küçüksu Street, Kaynarca Neighborhood, Pendik. According to reports, a fire broke out in a parked vehicle for an undetermined reason. The fire grew and spread to an adjacent building and a three-story café.
FIRE WAS DIFFICULT TO CONTROL
Upon notification, a large number of firefighters, police, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Due to the traffic congestion in the area, the fire was difficult to control, and a citizen affected by the smoke was rescued by firefighters. As a result of the fire, 2 vehicles and the café became unusable. Additionally, extensive material damage occurred in nearby buildings. An investigation has been initiated regarding the cause of the fire.

Sahil Yıldırım, the partner of the café that turned to ashes in the fire, said, "They moved the vehicle to the front. We had been working on this place for two or three months, and we were going to have our opening tomorrow morning. It wasn't meant to be; everything is from God. We are currently waiting for the police and fire report. That vehicle burned, and it spread to the adjacent vehicle. After that, it completely burned the shop. The shop was closed, but it was completely full; we had everything, and we had taken it out through taxation. We were going to start operating as a café tomorrow, but it wasn't meant to be," he said.
