THE HIGHEST CHILD POPULATION IN IRELAND IN THE EU
When examining the 27 member countries of the European Union (EU), the child population rate in 2024 was 17.8%, which is the EU average. The countries with the highest child population rates among EU members are recorded as Ireland with 23%, France with 20.8%, and Sweden with 20.6%. The countries with the lowest child population rates are Malta with 14.7%, Italy with 15.1%, and Portugal with 15.7%. It was observed that Turkey's child population rate of 25.5% is higher than that of EU member countries.
