CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır announced that Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem has been summoned by the prosecutor's office to give a statement for participating in the protests following the detention of Ekrem İmamoğlu.
CHP's Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem was summoned for questioning for participating in the protests against Ekrem İmamoğlu.
Ekrem İmamoğlu's detention and subsequent arrest led to numerous protests, particularly in Istanbul, Izmir, and Ankara. Many investigations have been launched regarding the protests.
CHP MAYOR SUMMONED FOR QUESTIONING
Recently, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır announced that Zonguldak Mayor Tahsin Erdem was summoned for questioning by the prosecutor's office due to his participation in the protests held for İmamoğlu.
In a post on social media, Başarır stated, "A government that has lost its sense of shame; our country is facing a fascist, coup-like, and dictatorial regime! Our Zonguldak Mayor was summoned for questioning by the prosecutor's office for participating in the actions taken by the entire country against the arrest of our presidential candidate Mr. Ekrem İmamoğlu. We are tearing apart these investigations."
