ÖSYM DENIES THE CLAIM THAT "YKS PREFERENCES HAVE BEEN CHANGED"

The Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) made a written statement regarding the news in some media outlets and social media platforms that the preferences of 6 candidates in the YKS have been changed. The statement indicated that the claims were not true.

"NO DATA LEAKAGE HAS BEEN DETECTED"

The statement included the following expressions: "The user information contained in the information systems of the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) is stored securely. No data leakage has been detected, including user information in the Candidate Transactions System (AİS) provided by our presidency. Examples of problems arising from candidates sharing their TC identity numbers and AİS passwords with others have been reflected in the press in previous years and have been the subject of news. It should be emphasized that keeping candidates' user information confidential is entirely their own responsibility, and it is of great importance that they do not share their TC identity numbers and AİS passwords with others."
