Documents allegedly belonging to the Ankara Governor's Office regarding NATO Summit measures have caused widespread repercussions in the public. The Directorate of Communications, denying reports in some media outlets, stated, "It is of great importance to be cautious against such disinformation activities targeting social security and peace."

The Presidency's Directorate of Communications Disinformation Combat Center (DMM) made a statement regarding documents allegedly belonging to the Ankara Governorship concerning measures taken within the scope of the NATO Summit, which were circulated on social media and various communication groups. The DMM reported that these posts and documents do not reflect the truth.

"CONSISTS OF FAKE CONTENT"

In the statement, it was noted that the circulated documents were completely baseless, stating, "The said posts and documents are entirely unfounded and consist of fake content lacking official format and quality."

WARNING TO CITIZENS

The DMM emphasized the need to be cautious against disinformation activities targeting social security and peace. The statement called on the public not to heed baseless claims and fake documents aimed at misleading the public, and to avoid sharing unverified information not based on official sources.
