Selçuk Ç., one of the three individuals taken to the police station, stated in his statement that he bought the drugs for 4,000 liras from an unknown person in Kağıthane and brought them to Feyza Civelek to sell for 6,000 liras.
Ömer Faruk A., the motorcycle driver, claimed in his statement as a witness that he was not aware of the drug transaction and only helped his friend when he asked him to drop him off in Beşiktaş. The 6,000 liras, cell phone, and SIM card found on Selçuk Ç. were seized for examination. Selçuk Ç., who was taken into custody, was referred to the courthouse.

Selçuk Ç., who was referred to the court, was arrested and sent to prison on charges of "engaging in drug or stimulant trafficking or provision". Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office prepared an indictment requesting a prison sentence of not less than 15 years for Selçuk Ç. within the scope of the same crime and filed a lawsuit at Istanbul Heavy Penal Court.
