The criminal investigation report of the Narin murder has been completed: The detail of the blackout caught attention.

Turkey continues to discuss the murder of 8-year-old Narin Güran. A new development has emerged regarding the murder, with new details surfacing every day. The National Criminal Bureau has completed the report it prepared concerning the murder. The bureau sent the prepared report to the Diyarbakır 8th Heavy Penal Court.

THE DARK DETAIL CAUGHT ATTENTION

The report responded to the court's request to determine whether there was any human activity at the alleged crime scene, Arif Güran's house or barn, whether there were people entering or exiting the house, barn, or the gardens surrounding the house, and whether any vehicles had come to these areas.

In the response, it was stated, "As mentioned in the 'Decryption' clip, shadows and illuminated areas have been observed in the house and barn area, and the interpretation of these movements is up to the authority. This section contains significant findings that emerged as a result of the image enhancement and clarification work conducted by the forensic image analysis experts of the National Criminal Bureau, after reviewing all frames of the camera recording. A bright light reflection was notably observed 15 seconds after the shadow seen on the path at 15:18:50 (15:19:05) near the barn. Just before the examination of the following vehicles seen at 15:38, a car that made a 'U' turn on the upper road of the village drew attention. Its evaluation and interpretation are up to the authority," it was stated.

The report also noted that at 15:22, two black shadows were seen in front of the barn, and at 15:25, a shadow was observed behind the barn as a point of attention.

"IT HAS DISAPPEARED GOING UPWARDS"

One of the court's requests was, "It is known that after being seen on the school camera, Narin headed towards the path where her house is located. It should be investigated whether she went to Arif Güran's house or barn, or whether she headed towards the house of the suspect Nevzat Bahtiyar located on the path, or whether suspect Bahtiyar encountered Narin on the path. Considering that it is understood from the last image reflected on the school camera that Narin was wearing black clothes, it is requested to carefully examine whether a girl in black clothing can be identified, and also to evaluate the time between 15:10 and 15:30 during the examination," it was stated.

The report included the statement regarding this request: "Since it is possible to define clothing characteristics during the moment she was in the frame while using the path, considering the reasonable time spent on the path, it was evaluated that Narin Güran was approaching the barn-house area in the area observed as a dark shadow between 15:18:49 and 15:18:50 (hour/minute/second) and has disappeared going upwards."

DID NARIN GO TO NEVZAT BAHTIYAR'S HOUSE?

The report also mentioned that an investigation was conducted regarding whether Narin went to the house of the informant Nevzat Bahtiyar. The report stated, "Although all image enhancement techniques were used and each image frame was repeatedly reviewed to provide specific answers to all the questions asked, it was assessed that it would not be possible to determine whether something was carried to the house or barn, or to identify entries and exits to the house or barn, due to the considerable distance of the area where the incident occurred and the close proximity of the barn, house, and other buildings to each other."

WHAT HAPPENED?

Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 in the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, was found dead in the Eğertutmaz stream on September 8.

As part of the investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 12 out of 23 suspects, including uncle Salim, mother Yüksel, brother Enes Güran, and neighbor Nevzat Bahtiyar, were arrested.

The investigation against Salim, Yüksel, and Enes Güran, as well as Nevzat Bahtiyar, has been completed, and an indictment prepared against the 4 suspects for "intentional murder of a child in complicity" was accepted by the Diyarbakır 8th Heavy Penal Court on October 23.
