After the vehicle attack in the USA that claimed the lives of 15 people, a chilling incident also occurred in Montenegro. The death toll from the armed attack in the city of Cetinje, which the police initially reported as 7, has risen to 10. Interior Minister Danilo Saranovic stated regarding the armed attack that took place in an entertainment venue, "What we can say for now is that the suspect named Aco Martinovic has taken the lives of at least 10 people, including two children." THE OWNER OF THE ENTERTAINMENT VENUE IS AMONG THE DEADThe Montenegrin minister announced that among those who lost their lives in the attack were the suspect's own family members, the owner of the entertainment venue, and his two children. The Montenegrin police had previously reported the death toll as 7. "DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOMES"Saranovic stated that the suspect, who is being searched for everywhere by the police, is armed and using a motor vehicle. The Montenegrin Interior Minister urged the residents of Cetinje to stay indoors until the suspect is captured. Saranovic mentioned that four people who were seriously injured in the attack are in intensive care. A 3-DAY MOURNING HAS BEEN DECLAREDThe Montenegrin government held an extraordinary meeting via telephone connection due to the tragedy in the city of Cetinje and decided to declare three days of mourning starting tomorrow. Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajic stated, "We are all affected by a terrible tragedy. All units are searching for the perpetrator in Cetinje. I hope that the doctors can save the lives of those who are in critical condition." THE ARMY WILL ALSO PARTICIPATE IN THE SEARCH OPERATIONSSpajic announced that the Montenegrin Army will also support the search operations for the attack suspect. Spajic stated that they plan to hold a National Security Council meeting and will discuss the complete prohibition of carrying weapons at that meeting.
