The 48th Criminal Court of First Instance in Istanbul, despite the objections of his lawyers, issued a decision for the 'forced appearance' of former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, a development that also raised tensions in the Parliament. CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır emphasized that there is no power that can forcibly take Kılıçdaroğlu anywhere, stating, "I am ashamed. 128 members of parliament, 81 provincial heads, and millions are here. If you can, come and take him." Meanwhile, reactions to the decision came in succession from Özgür Özel and Ekrem İmamoğlu.

In today's hearing, Mustafa Doğan İnal's lawyer stated that his complaints against former CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu continue and requested the court to forcibly bring Kılıçdaroğlu. The court found this request valid and decided to forcibly bring the defendant.

LAWYER'S REQUEST NOT ACCEPTED

Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer Celal Çelik's authorization, Lawyer Uğur Çelik, who attended the hearing, stated, "Our client's residence is in Ankara, we request that the instructions be sent here." However, the court rejected this request and decided to forcibly bring Kılıçdaroğlu to the hearing.

ALI MAHIR BASARIR: I AM ASHAMED

While the decision resonated widely in the public, CHP Group Deputy Chairman Ali Mahir Başarır emphasized in his speech at the Parliament that there is no power that can forcibly take Kılıçdaroğlu anywhere, saying, "I am ashamed! There is no power that can forcibly bring Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu there! The 128 deputies of the CHP, 81 provincial heads, and millions are here! If you can take him, come and take him!"

ÖZEL: OUR PARTY IS STANDING STRONG AS A WHOLE

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel also reacted to the decision regarding Kılıçdaroğlu, stating, "The decision to forcibly bring our former Chairman Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu today is not only illegal but also an attempt to intimidate by a politicized judiciary. Our party stands strong and united against these efforts," he expressed.

IMAMOGLU ALSO REMAINED SILENT

Another reaction to the decision came from İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu. İmamoğlu stated, "Let them enforce the decisions to forcibly bring those who have dozens of criminal records and roam around. The decision to forcibly bring our 7th Chairman Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu due to an ongoing case is not legal but political. We stand by Kemal Bey until the end in this process," he shared.
