The decision to forcibly bring Kılıçdaroğlu has been revoked.

The Istanbul 48th Criminal Court of First Instance had issued a "forced appearance" decision regarding former CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu yesterday, despite objections from his lawyers. It was stated that the decision was made within the scope of the defamation case opened by President Erdoğan's former lawyer Mustafa Doğan İnal.

COURT BACKTRACKED

CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu reacted to the decision, which was officially lifted after the Istanbul 48th Criminal Court of First Instance backtracked, by stating in a video, "If I take a step back for this people until my last breath, I am dishonorable."

"THE JUDGE HAD TO REVOKE HIS OWN LEGAL DECISION"

Kılıçdaroğlu's lawyer Celal Çelik, who announced the development, stated, "The Istanbul 48th Criminal Court of First Instance backtracked from its shocking decision! The relevant judge had to revoke his own legal decision today without any objection being submitted..."

KILIÇDAROĞLU HAD CHALLENGED

Kılıçdaroğlu, who was subject to a forced appearance decision, used the following statements in the video he shared under the title "Bring it on": "My friends, what days have we come to? Erdoğan is complaining about me, saying 'We will soften, but Kılıçdaroğlu does not allow it,' and that is not enough, he is trying to intimidate me with the palace judiciary. As long as I continue to be Erdoğan's nightmare, as long as the economic crisis continues, Kılıçdaroğlu enmity will increase. To those who try to push CHP members out of politics with various tricks, my clear and direct call is: We will not surrender a single CHP member to the palace judiciary. We will not let them harm me or my fellow travelers. Stop giving orders to the judiciary. If your problem is with me, I will continue to stand tall.

I swear to hold you accountable for the tenders you handed over to the five-member gang, the corruption, and every penny you stole from the citizens' pockets. If I take a step back for this people until my last breath, I am dishonorable."

ÖZEL AND İMAMOĞLU HAD REACTED

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel reacted to the decision regarding Kılıçdaroğlu, stating, "The forced appearance decision made today regarding our former Chairman Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is not only illegal but also an attempt by a politicized judiciary to intimidate. Our party stands firm and united against these efforts," he had stated.

Another reaction to the decision came from İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu. İmamoğlu stated, "Let them apply forced appearance decisions to those who have dozens of criminal records and roam around. The forced appearance decision made due to an ongoing case against our 7th Chairman Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is not legal but political. We stand by Kemal Bey until the end in this process," he shared.
