Details of the leaders' summit in Egypt, which will be attended by U.S. President Donald Trump, have started to emerge. The Egyptian Presidency announced that leaders from more than 20 countries have been invited to the summit, which will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, where ceasefire negotiations are also taking place regarding Gaza.
The U.S. press suggested that after an agreement was reached between Israel and Hamas for the first phase of a ceasefire in Gaza, U.S. President Donald Trump was preparing to turn his planned visit to Egypt on Monday, October 13, into a leaders' summit. Trump, confirming the claims, stated, "Many leaders will also be there during my visit to the Middle East."

Details of the summit have started to emerge. According to a statement from the Egyptian Presidency, the summit will be held in Sharm el-Sheikh, where ceasefire negotiations for Gaza are also taking place. Leaders from more than 20 countries, including Trump, have been invited to the summit.

According to the U.S. press, Turkey, Germany, France, Italy, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan were expected to participate in the summit at the level of leaders or foreign ministers. It was later reported that the list of invited countries had been expanded, with invitations sent to many countries, including Spain and Japan. It was noted that Israel would not participate in the summit.

Furthermore, according to a statement from the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the details of the arrangements for the summit were discussed "extensively" during a phone call between Minister Bedr Abdulati and his U.S. counterpart Marco Rubio. The statement emphasized that, in addition to Trump, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi would also co-chair the summit.
CEASEFIRE IN GAZA
