Support has come for Halil Konakçı, who is under investigation by the Presidency of Religious Affairs, from Oktay Saral, a senior advisor to the President. In a post on his social media account, Saral stated, "I congratulate Halil Konakçı, who bravely and without fear expresses the requirements of religion, even if some may be offended, hurt, or hold grudges."

The Presidency of Religious Affairs has launched an investigation regarding the allegations of 'inciting hatred and hostility against the public' against the preacher Halil Konakcı, who has drawn attention with his statements on social media.

The statement came from independent MP Ümit Dikbayır. In a post on his social media account, Dikbayır stated, "Last week, I filed a written complaint to the Presidency of Religious Affairs regarding the individual named 'Halil Konakcı'. As part of the administrative investigation initiated, the Chief Inspector of the Presidency of Religious Affairs, İbrahim Öztürk, and Deputy Director Hüseyin Akdağ came to visit me to gather information. I handed over all the documents related to the complaint to them in a file and provided the necessary information. I would like to inform that I will be following up on the matter and wish them ease in their work."

While the repercussions of the incident continue, the Chief Advisor to the President, Oktay Saral, expressed his support for Halil Konakcı.
