According to the information received, a woman named E.G. was driving her car when it hit the high school student after going up onto the sidewalk while parking by the roadside. The student, Sena Nur Şahin, fell to the ground and was trapped under the car.

With the help of nearby citizens, the car was pulled off the young girl. Later, the medical teams who arrived at the scene transported the injured to Yalova Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. It was reported that Şahin, who was seriously injured in the accident, was in critical condition.
