The economic confidence index rose in December.

The economic confidence index was 97.1 in November, while in December it increased by 1.8% to reach a value of 98.8.

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) shared the Economic Confidence Index data for December. Accordingly, the economic confidence index was 97.1 in November, while in December it increased by 1.8% to reach a value of 98.8.

Compared to the previous month, in December, the consumer confidence index increased by 1.9% to a value of 81.3, the real sector (manufacturing industry) confidence index decreased by 0.7% to a value of 102.7, the services sector confidence index increased by 2.4% to a value of 113.6, the retail trade sector confidence index increased by 1.2% to a value of 113.0, and the construction sector confidence index increased by 1.9% to a value of 89.4.
